PUPPY WAKES UP OWNER AND LEADS HER TO FIRE - “Lisa Burns said her seven-month-old dog Xena woke her up early Monday morning and led her to a small fire in her house.”
A seven-month-old puppy named Xena noticed that a fire had broken out in her house in Illinois. She jumped up and down on her owner and woke her up. Xena then led her owner to the scene of the fire and disaster was averted. Read more from The Alton Telegraph:

“It was out of character for her,” said Burns. She said the dog would normally lie by her side until she woke up, but that morning, Xena wasn’t waiting for Burns to wake.
She began jumping on her owner to wake her up an hour before the alarm went off. Burns said when she woke up, she could hear an electrical hum and knew something was wrong.
Then dog then lead her to a small fire which Burns was able to easily extinguish. Burns said she fears what may have happened if Xena had not woke her up.
